Duroblade-XXL is a high-performance blade developed by BTG for paper and board coating.

Duroblade-XXL is not a ceramic blade but a metal-based coating blade that can deliver superior paper quality and substantially longer blade life.

The tough and dense blade tip is also more resistant to blade tip damage. Improvements of both coated paper surface properties - e.g. smoothness and gloss - and machine runnability have been proved in various paper grades, in both bent and stiff blade operations.
