BT-5400 UV BRIGHTNESS TRANSMITTER
BRIGHTNESS AND COLOR TRANSMITTER WITH UNIQUE FLUORESCENCE CAPABILITY
The BT-5400 UV Brightness Transmitter is the first inline sensor capable of measuring the traditional parameters brigtness, color and ERIC plus the fluorescence resulting from optical brighteners. It is the answer to a general market trend towards higher brightness degrees and varying brightness of incoming recycled fibre grades. Thus this transmitter offers a range of benefits like a raised precision in bleach control and a more targeted dosing of bleaching chemicals.
The BT-5400 UV is designed for monitoring pulp bleaching in distributed control, supervisory or stand-alone applications. Due to a unique method of measuring brightness and a user-programmable algorithm, the sensor can calculate compensated brightness signals that consider variables and inputs from a variety of process measurements.
