TCR-2500 PEAKTOTAL - OPTICAL CONSISTENCY TRANSMITTER FOR TOTAL PULP CONSISTENCY
THE PEAK IN PULP CONSISTENCY CONTROL
The TCR-2500 PeakTotal is a true total pulp consistency transmitter. It is thus virtually insensitive to variations in filler and fines content as well as changes in fiber properties. Based on BTG’s patented Peak method for optical analysis PeakTotal covers total consistencies in the range of 0.5 to 10%.
The new sensor is suitable for use in the stock preparation area, in mechanical pulp processes as well as in other applications.
Its probe is mounted directly in the process line and should be located just after the pump in turbulent flow.
The sensor uses a fast digital signal processor and advanced signal treatment, i.e. the transmitter has a fast response and a reliable output signal. These factors provide the ideal conditions for optimizing the control loop.
The PeakTotal is available in a retractable standard version (picture left, at the bottom) and a brandnew light version which combines lean design with top functionality and quick ROI.
