IPI DUROROD™ AND METERING ROD BEDS FOR JAGENBERG COATERS

IPI Durorods and IPI Metering Rod Beds are the perfect upgrade for your Jagenberg coater. IPI Durorod, not only offers the longest lasting run times in the industry but also extremely smooth surface finishes to maximize coating quality. We also offer the standard 12 mm bed designs in three different materials (rubber, PU, or PE) to allow us to supply the perfect match for your application. In addition, we have developed a series of potential upgrades for the PE and PU beds that can allow for better coating efficiency, more coating pickup, and longer rod and bed run times. One common upgrade is to increase rod diameter from the standard 12 mm designs to allow additional coating pickup.

IPI Durorod "XL" offers the thickest, hardest chrome surface in the industry resulting in increased rod life and efficiency.

IPI Metering Rod Beds in (PE) material can be designed to include the "pinch tube" sealing arrangement. This design uses a full-length air tube to load the lips of the bed against the rod. The result is a better seal to keep coating color out of the bed and water lubrication in. This means cleaner operation without suffering from water dilution of the coating color. Just one of our many ideas to improve coating efficiencies.
