Duroblade-Vantage is designed to provide maximum wear-resistance of both the sliding surface and the impact surface. It allows improved tissue softness and a major increase in productivity for demanding customers.
The new tip material provides a previously unattained level of wear-resistance for ceramic blades. The wear development of the sliding surface is very slow, maintaining good stability of coating adhesion and a stabilized process. At the impact surface, the resistance to paper abrasion minimizes the impact wear and the deterioration of the tissue quality, ensuring stable and constant tissue bulk and softness. Overall, the use of Duroblade-Vantage leads to more stable and longer blade lifetimes, increasing the average operation times compared to other ceramic products. This means fewer blade changes and consequently additional tons of finished product at the end of the day. In addition, this new material has low hardness and good chipping-resistance. It also allows you to reduce dust generation in the creping process.
Made of engineered ceramics, this material was developed to enhance Yankee safety, resulting in a much lower damage risk.
